Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for BAE Systems as a Supply Chain Professional on a 12 month contract. The role sits within the Europe & International business area within the Export repairs order book management team supporting All Export customers.The role involves managing customer demands and will require use of multiple IT Systems / Supply Chain toolsets. The candidate should have effective communication and interpersonal skills alongside an ability to analyse, interpret and manage data with a goodlevel of attention to detail. Recent experience within a Supply Chain Demand Management role is desirable. Key activities of the role are: - Management of the Export Repairs order book. - Liaise with procurement / suppliers / internal teams to expedite new and existing Repair orders. - Liaising with PM team and internal / external customers to manage priorities and dependencies. - Attend recurring performance and order book reviews / meetings and report against demand status. - Maintain topicality of all Customer order book reporting. The candidate must be good with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and have excellent Excel skills. Excellent communication, team working and motivation skills are essential.
