Job Description

In east Birmingham, a fantastically unique opportunity has just become available for an experienced, niche Sales Ledger, in a steady and growing business. This opportunity suits an experienced and dedicated Accounts Receivable and Payable professional that brings knowledge of end to end payroll as this will be a role controlling each.This role naturally requires a candidate that has 2 or more years working within Payroll and Ledger functions. The business is looking for an adaptable and detailed individual that will be able to join their cozy, family orientated accounts team. You will be using your rapport building skills to liaise with a host of suppliers when securing payment alongside processing sales invoices, completing bank reconciliations and allocating cash.Ideally, you will:

  • Be able to efficiently process Sales and Purchase invoices, accurately at a high volume.
  • Feel comfortable chasing debtors for outstanding payments, and reconciling supplier statements
  • Have up to date payroll knowledge as you will be required to take over the payroll function as half of your role
  • Be able to reconcille the bank and supplier statements
    • In Return, you will:
