Job Description

A new SEN School in Saltash need a secondary trained Teacher to teach their SEN pupils on a full time basis. All students have an educational health care plan so the successful teacher will need to be adaptive with their lesson planning and creative to helpwith engagement. The class sixzes are small and the school do not mind what specialism you have as it is more important to them that they have a nurturing and confident teacher in their school.The school have an excellent reputation already since opening in September 2021! The team are very welcoming, friendly and supportive. The school also offer excellent CPD.This role is to start in January 2022 or as soon as possible.The role:

  • 8:30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
  • Temporary role (interviews are termly for permanent roles)
  • An all-through school with each key stage in different areas on site
  • Outreach 1:1
  • Learning outside the classroom facilities
  • Vocational subjects being brought in dependant on specialisms at the school
The successful candidate:
  • Will have QTS and experience with the framework and assessments at secondary level
  • Will have a nurturing and confident approach to teaching and learning
  • Can have any specialism - SEN experience is desirable but not essential
