Summary We are looking for an individual who can bring their knowledge of building conservation working with older buildings coupled with good people skills, to manage the maintenance and repair of our Let Estate across North Cornwall, Cotehele and Antony in EastCornwall.Interview date week commencing 2nd August. Weve recently redefined our strategyand made some revolutionary changes to significantly improve how we do things in Estate Management.The National Trust is the UKs biggest private landowner and you will support its work with the maintenance of the properties it owns and protects. What youll be doing As a Let Estate Building Supervisor you will deliver and implement high standards of maintenance and repair of our Let Estate properties.You will liaise with tenants so that expectations are managed effectively, and work collaboratively with other members of the Let Estate team and specialist colleagues to ensure the appropriate standards of care, maintenance and compliance are achieved.You will help to plan the workload for the coming year and ensure work is delivered in a timely manner.Youll be proactive in your approach to risk management, working with colleagues and external contractors to ensure risk assessments are undertaken and all work is compliant with the relevant legislation and policies.Youll manage a delegated budget and ensure all resources are used in the most efficient way.You will be responsible for the line management of one General Tradesperson who is based at Cotehele.
