Human Resources Advisor - Saltash / Hybrid - £32,000 + Company VehicleWell Placed HR are delighted to have been engaged by a highly successful specialist services business who have enjoyed impressive growth in their business and employee head count. They now seek an HR Advisor to join their people management function in anewly created role. This is a full time, permanent position which will be based both on site in Saltash and on a hybrid working arrangement. The role will also entail a degree of travel throughout the Southwest (fully expenses company car provided).Reporting to an experienced HR Director and working as part of an experienced people management team, the position represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious HR professional to stamp their mark in a brand new role and with a business that is rapidlyexpanding. Core responsibilities to include:- Act as the primary site contact for employee queries- Drive forwards modern and robust employee relations initiatives- Assist line managers with disciplinary, absence and grievance procedures- Take a lead role in the production of HRM metrics and general people focussed management information- Support the people management team with change management projects- Maintenance of all company people management systems and system streamlining- Ongoing review of remuneration, rewards, and benefits to ensure that the business remains highly competitive- Managing a variety of training and development programs- Ongoing development of staff wellbeing initiatives- Supporting senior management team that require HR assistance in performance reviews etc.The person we’re looking for: An experienced HR Advisor with at least 18 months of recently gained experience in a similar role, ideally qualified to CIPD Level 5 or above. An up to date knowledge of UK employment law and modern people management practicesis essential as will be a good aptitude for computerised people management systems (full training provided on bespoke systems). Prior experience or an interesting is developing robust ER initiatives and/or TUPE would be highly desirable.
