Job Description

Used Car Sales ManagerAutomotive Dealership£35,000 pa, OTE £57,750 pa, tax-efficient car, phone + benefitsManufacturer-owned GroupManchester, M3Renault Manchester seeks an experienced motor retail Sales Manager to join our dealerships Used Car Sales department.Based in Salford on Trinity Way (M3), the remit will involve management of Renault Manchesters highly successful Used Car sales team and respective processes. Products include used and nearly-new cars from the entire range of Renault and Dacia vehicles,including passenger cars, electric vehicles, LCVs, performance-tuned variants as well as approved used cars from other makes and manufacturers.This is a fantastic opportunity for a management-level candidate to join a manufacturer-owned group. Candidates must have a substantial and consistent track record in main dealer used car sales management roles in order to be considered.Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of the processes for used car sales according to budgets, company standards and Group targets
  • Management and development of the team comprising 4 Used Car Sales Executives, 1 Business Manager + support staff
  • Managing the Business Manager and the F&I, add-on sales and the customer second-facing processes
  • Stock and vehicle age management
  • Dealership presentation, display and local marketing
  • Regular weekly reports to direct management and monthly performance presentation at regional business reviews
  • Achieving pre-determined targets on sales, customer satisfaction/recommendation and profit
For this high-profile role the successful candidate will be/have:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and hold a full valid UK Driving License
  • Employed as a Motor Retail Sales Manager in current / most recent role
  • A proven track record in exceeding targets - candidates with a track record of successfully delivering annual car sales targets of 700 units or more would be a distinct advantage (new & used, or solely used)
