Job Description

Hoist Finance is a leading debt restructuring partner to international banks whose aim is to support customers in becoming debt free, contributing to a society where people are given the opportunity to repay their debts in a dignified and sustainable manner.Due to a restructuring process, we currently have a vacancy for a Senior Data Engineer. This is an exciting position where you be joining the Data and Analytics team.As a Senior Data Engineer you need to have key skills in the following:

  • Extensive experience in a past Data Engineer position
  • Intermediate knowledge in a popular RDMBS (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle, PostgeSQL, MySQL)
  • Extensive knowledge of BI Stack design and implementation
  • Preferable to have knowledge in some of the following areas:- Snowflake, DBT, Azure Technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Devops, Azure functions, Powershell, GIT
  • Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server 2016, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
  • BI Reporting skills
As a Senior Data Engineer you will be responsible for:
  • The technical design and quality of one or more applications owned by the data development team
  • Responsible for ensuring the applications are of high quality and support
  • Develop data intergration flows from source systems into the Hoist Finance Data platforms
  • Maintain and Support various data plans
  • Responsible for developing, agreeing and maintaining a technology roadmap for the future architecture.
