Job Description

We are seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants at a SEN secondary school in Salford. Both part-time flexible bookings and long term full time positions are currently available at this location!About the role: If you are empathetic, hardworking and passionate about uplifting the confidence of young people with SEND or behavioural needs, these roles may be well suited to you. We are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants who are happy to work with SENDpupils with a variety of special and behavioural needs. These role are based in a SEN secondary setting so you will be working with pupils in either KS3 or KS4 on a 1-1 basis or in small groups.What you will need:

  • Experience working within secondary education with students with SEND or behavioural needs
  • Have a firm but fair approach regarding behaviour management
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) on the update serviceor be happy to process a new DBS (costs £48)
  • SEND qualifications such as ASDAN and Team Teach are preferred but not essential
