Job Description

At Securitas we guard and protect a variety of clients across the globe, ranging from banks, retail chains, leisure venues and corporate offices.We are one of the largest security service organisations in the world.   • Working a minimum of 42hrs per week
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 1900-0700
  • Overtime is available
  • Must have a full valid SIA
Your responsibilities will include:
  • You will play a vital security role in protecting our clients site, property and site assets whilst keeping both employees and visiting customers safe.
  • You will also be required to carry out foot patrols both internally and externally.
  • Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises.
  • Display an outstanding level of customer service.
  • You will always remain alert and vigilant to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening activity.
  • As a Security Officer, you will retain full control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of another external agency.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed recording and reporting all faults, health and safety hazards.
Essential Skills
  • Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
  • SIA Licence
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
