Regional Sales Executive£35,000 OTE £60,000Monday to Friday9 - 5North WestDue to an exciting period of growth, is delighted to announce that we are recruiting a new Business Development Manager to join our growing and exciting Commercial Waste Division, covering Rochdale, Oldham, Bury and parts of North Manchester.We are seeking an energetic, motivated and articulate team player to Join our Commercial Waste Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and retaining business growth opportunities within the Trade Waste function by obtaining new clientsand fostering business relationships to increase revenue from sales.Job PurposeTo be responsible for retaining business growth opportunities within the Trade Waste function by gaining new clients and fostering business relationships to increase sales revenue.Principal Job DutiesIntroduce new contracted customers to the business by means of signed service level agreements.Develop and nurture effective working relationships with new and existing customers in person and via telephone and email communicationSource new clients and promote sales to themBe knowledgeable about the full range of products and services offered by the trade waste functionIdentify opportunities to upsell to enhance sales revenueCold call as appropriate within your geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities which can be turned into increased salesNegotiate the terms of an agreement and close salesRaise the company profile by attending trade exhibitions, events and demonstrationsCreate detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customerLiaise with 3rd party service suppliersReview your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targetsGain a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements and present an appropriate pitch to make a saleMake accurate and rapid cost calculations and provide customers with quotationsFeed future buying trends back to employersAttend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.Work closely with the Senior Sales Manager in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.Help to develop a strong sales ethos within the teamWork with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needsHandle objections by working through differences to a positive conclusion.ExperiencePrevious experience of writing new client proposals and pitches which generate new businessTerritory ManagementSkillsAbility to identify customers needs and challenges and present a solution which addresses theseA desire to work hard and exceed targetsHighly conscientious, diligent, self-motivating and enthusiasticAbility to use a variety of styles to persuade, negotiate and influence appropriatelyHighly organised with an ability to manage own time and plan short, medium, and long termAbility to constantly juggle priorities to suit business demandsHighly charismatic, credible, and personableNumerate, literate, and good communicatorGood IT/keyboard skillsEnthusiastic, self-motivated, and disciplinedAbility to develop new skills and take instruction from all levels of managementKnowledgeAdvanced knowledge of modern CRM systems and full Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Additional leaveCompany carCycle to work schemeEmployee discountGym membershipHealth & wellbeing programmeReferral programmeStore discountSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsSupplemental pay types:Commission payYearly bonusExperience:Sales: 2 years (required)Field Sales: 2 years (preferred)Work Location: In personTime Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
