Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for an Experienced Receptionist to join one of our GP Practices based in Salford. This is a temporary opportunity working full times hours Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week, paying £9.54 per hour.About The Role:This role will be supporting the GP Practice in answering all the phone calls that come through to the practice, one the surgery is back open fully. The receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients visiting the surgery. Other duties will include:

  • Answering telephone
  • Dealing with enquiries
  • Booking appointments
  • Organising blood tests and other routine tests
  • Accessing and updating patients records, using the inhouse system
  • General administration duties
  • Updating the system using Emis Web and Docman
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Reception experience
  • Able to multi task and work as part of a team
  • Good level of IT skills
  • Ability to pick things up quickly
  • Any expereince using Emis Web and Docman would be preferred
