They will be providing the following support to the Estates & Capital team

  • Repair and renewal of all types of sanitary equipment including washbasins, sinks, WC’s, cisterns, slop hoppers etc.
  • Maintenance, repair and fault diagnosis of bedpan macerators, dishwashers etc.
  • Carry out maintenance of complex systems including Heating and DHW systems, pressurised systems, water systems, tanks, rain water systems, building management systems, plant and equipment contained within the theatres and throughout the hospital and peripheral sites.
  • Repair, renewal and removal of blockages from above ground drainage systems, both internally and externally including guttering, downspouts and building gullies.
  • Repair, renewal and removal of blockages from below ground drainage systems both internally and externally including road gullies and manholes.

  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Domestic Heating
  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating
  • Flexibility with other trades technical knowledge
  • Participate on the on-call rota – 365 / 24
  • Driving license
