You will co-ordinate the investigation and the follow-up of packaging non-conformances, perform audits of packaging suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and quality systems, and will ensure that all packaging provided to our client is in accordance with its specification, and provides the functionality to meet the demands of the bottling programme.Your key responsibilities as our Packaging Quality Coordinator will include:* Working closely with the Production and Engineering departments to ensure efficient running of equipment* Reporting any non-conforming packaging to suppliers and follow up corrective actions* Providing technical assistance and support* Organising and overseeing production trials to ensure the suitability of new packaging* Assisting in the checking and approval of all new packaging* Attending first production runs of new packaging* Performing audits of packaging suppliers manufacturing facilities* Maintaining appropriate documentation for supplier approval* Supporting the HACCP plan within the business and ensure employees conform to specified procedures and standardsSkills required as our Packaging Quality Coordinator* Minimum of 2 years working in a food/ drinks manufacturing or similar environment* Att least 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including passes in Maths and English* Full driving license is essential for travel to supplier locations* Have the ability to communicate at all levels* Be proficient in the use of all microsoft packages and previous experience of SAP would be beneficial but not essential* Ability to be autonomous and self-motivatedBenefits of becoming our Packaging Quality Coordinator* Annual bonus scheme - Discretionary based on KPIs* Training and development* Health Shield - After 12 months service* Pension - company contribution in line with AE* Generous holiday entitlement* Company day holiday* Vouchers and wine at Christmas* Staff Discounted Shop* Free on-site car parkingHow To ApplyPlease click on the link to apply ensuring all of your contact details and information are thoroughly up to date.I look forward to receiving your application.ThanksKellyKelly NewellManufacturing Divisional ManagerRTGImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
