Job Description

An exciting opportunity within the Maths department of an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school.

  • Full-time Maths teacher.
  • Required from Janaury 2021 for the rest of the academic year.
  • Secondary school located in Salford.
  • Pay in line with scale point (£24,373 - £40,490).
  • Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
    • Our client secondary school is located in Bury and is currently looking for an additional staff member to join the Maths department. The school has around 1000 pupils on roll including an SEN department for students with learning or behavioural difficulties. The school is easily accessible via the M66/A56 from surrounding areas including Bolton, Rochdale and Middleton. The school can also be accessed via public transport links including bus and train, from areas such as Prestwich and Whitefield.The incoming Maths teacher will be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside planning, preparing and delivering Maths lessons to meet the needs of individuals at varying levels of learning.To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have QTS and experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level.
