Job Description

Learning & Development Administrator - Salford QuaysMarlowe Fire and Security is experiencing an exciting period of growth and this role will support the Learning and Development department with the administration of all internal and external training. You will become the first port of call for training enquiriesand will liaise with all stakeholders to maintain our database of training records and certifications. You will support the fortnightly inductions and will work closely with the L&D Business Partner to fine tune existing processes and develop new ones wherenecessary.The Role

  • Work closely with the L&D Business Partner to support the smooth running of the department
  • Using our HR software, you will track training requests and approvals, coordinate the booking of all external training, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the process runs smoothly.
  • You will become the FPOC for all training enquiries, certifications, and training records held centrally.
  • Raise purchase orders and be responsible for invoice queries
  • Once training has taken place, upload certificates to the NaturalHR or liaise with stakeholders to rebook.
  • Provide a weekly compliance report for schedulers.
  • Assign e-learning to new starters on the Astute platform and assign monthly toolbox talks to engineers.
  • Update the Astute platform with starters/leavers.
  • Contribute to board reports on L&D activity
  • Support with training requirements during mobilisation of new contracts
  • Evidence specific competencies to customers when tendering for new contracts. Mainly specific fire or security systems.
  • Create online portal logins for engineers and manage access across client portals.
  • Support the wider HR team as necessary.

  • Previous administration experience
  • Confident verbal and written communicator with tact and diplomacy
  • High level of attention to detail in all work
  • Highly organised and can work independently and proactively
  • Proactive approach, using initiative to seek effective solutions
  • Proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems or Learning Experience Platforms (desirable)
  • Experience of working with confidential information
