Job Description

Lead Full-Stack DeveloperSalary: £50,000 - £60,000Location: SalfordJob-type: Permanent, Full-timeWe are looking to speak with an experienced lead full-stack developer who is looking to work for a fast-growing software company based in the Salford area. Our client works across a diverse range of sectors including science, healthcare, education, sports, fashion, logistics and many more. Our client is at the forefront of digital design and development which has led them to form partnerships with some of the worlds most renowned companies, providing them a great service on all platforms.If you are looking for a company where your talent and contributions will not go unnoticed this may be the perfect place for you. You will work with a mixture of partnering agencies and contractors which contain a variety of staff which includes experienced developers and young talent.The working hours are Monday – Friday, with flexible working hours for those who require it. The package also includes 29 days holiday including bank holidays. This position also offers a wide array of bonuses such as access to a great company pension scheme and opportunities to work on a wide variety of project and technologies.Key requirements:

  • 5+ years industry experience in a lead or senior role covering both Backend and frontend
  • Proficient working experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, React, SQL server, MySQL, Azure (Pipelines, Function/logic app/ARM Templates) and AWS Clouds. Android, IOS
  • Excited about cloud technologies and recognise that they are indispensable in any future proof solutions being developed.
  • Great stakeholder management skills
  • Have excellent communication Skills both Written and verbal.
  • Ability to escalate issues within a project to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Ability to create Technical specification documents and technical diagram’s
    • Key duties:
  • Lead a team of talented developers while collaborating closely with other stakeholders of a project like the PM and Designers.
  • Work across the tech stack stated above to deliver high quality, maintainable code either directly or through delegating to your team.
  • Champion best practices in code, Architecture and Processes.
  • Take charge of writing and delivering technical documentation needed at various stages of a project either directly or by delegating
  • Conducting code reviews to ensure code written by members of your team meet best practices and expected quality standards
  • Assist when hiring new developers; they will be joining your team so you will want to pick the best talent that will effortlessly blend into your team.
  • Help maintain and fix bugs in legacy systems that require attention once in a while.
  • Participate in 3 Amigo Sessions as well as discovery sessions to ensure that solutions being developed don’t stray away from requirements given.
  • Understands mobile delivery and can work with our mobile development team.
  • Review emerging technologies and point ones that the company should adopt to keep pace in the industry.
  • Allocate and manage workload between development teams, to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to schedule.
