As a Senior / Lead Developer youll come from either a .Net (.Net Core) or JavaScript development background (.Net Core / NodeJS and React). As a Lead Developer you will lead a new Squad (6) on the latest product releases and updates that will keep my client leading the way on their online presenceIdeally youll have 4 yrs +commercial experience with 1 yr as a Snr / Lead Developer IDEALLY in a full stack role with JavaScript being the technology of choice, React and Node make up the majority of the stack so first class knowledge of JavaScript is essential - but my client isnt afraid to train if your not well versed in NodeJS. Youll thrive in a fast-Paced Agile development environment and youll have strong TDD experience. Youll gain exposure to AWS on a daily basis (any AWS exp BIG plus) as youll work closely with the DevOps team and will utilize multiple CI tools to ensure clean test driven code (TDD) is deployed to production multiple times a day.Skills- Currently a Senior / Lead Developer, a hands on developer whilst mentoring those around you too.- Strong full stack expertise with skills in JavaScript and/or .NET Core- Knowledge/ willingness to learn React, Node and Node APIs- Experience designing and/or interacting with RESTful APIs- Application/API performance and optimisation knowledge- Experience with test-driven development- Knowledge of AWS services and APIsThis is a superb opportunity based in the heart of the Salford Quays Tech Hub, in a state-of-the-art office, offering a fantastic working environment (Currently WFH - but Flexi Working and some WFH when back to normal).
