Job Description

About the job Were looking for a lead Analyst with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills to head up our team responsible for turning operations data into actionable insights. Working with key stakeholders across this company in the UK and their corporatereporting team in Barcelona, you will lead the proactive gathering of reporting requirements and the development of appropriate reporting tools and apps.Playing a key role within our team that are supporting our mission to bring connectivity to every part of the UK, youll be joining them at a time of digital innovation in support of areas including Smart Cities, IoT, digital broadcasting and the UKs transportand emergency services. If youre an accomplished business reporting analyst whos excited by the proposition of taking a lead role in enabling communications infrastructure for the 21st century we want to hear from you.The position can be based from one of their offices in Reading, Manchester or Leamington Spa, with regular travel to other offices and an occasional requirement to travel overseas .We operate hybrid working practices of 3 days per week in the office with 2 days remote.Key ResponsibilitiesHeading up a reporting team of 4 youll need to develop a thorough understanding of reporting processes, tools and resources across the business. Other responsibilities will include.

  • Supporting stakeholders to articulate their reporting requirements
  • Coordinating reporting activity and related governance at Operations, country and group level
  • The proactive management of reporting data quality and consistency
  • Identifying and promoting opportunities to continually improve the delivery reporting routines and practices
  • Contributing to the development of new reporting processes, through the analysis of related data and the creation of new reporting solutions
  • Supporting the user acceptance testing of any new reporting or related tools
  • Owning and developing our reporting tools, apps and processes
  • Owning and developing our operations Demand and Resource Modelling tool
  • Ensuring governance of the operations Demand and Resource Model to support accurate resource planning
  • Developing and maintaining the PMO reporting documentation
  • Owning and developing our Site Marketability Database
ExperienceTo qualify youll need to evidence previous experience leading a high performing reporting team. You should also have
  • A good knowledge of industry standard reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, AFO)
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with peers and senior managers; both internal and external.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels
  • A proactive and delivery focused mindset that manages and meets customer and stakeholder commitments
  • A comfort with working with ambiguity
  • Experience balancing conflicting priorities from different stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment
