Job Description

Are you an experienced Sales Executive looking for a step up into management whilst doing what you love Are you a target driven, enthusiastic individual looking for a permanent opportunity within an incredibly successful and friendly familyrun businessWe are recruiting for a pro-active and dynamic individual with a strong background in Sales to join an already brilliant team, working with full autonomy within an organisation who have a solid plan to grow and expand in 2024. You will be responsible forachieving your KPIs while managing 1 member of staff.This roles requires a positive, can-do attitude and a desire to be part of a growing business. You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders, deliveries and provide support for sales representatives.Working Hours: 8:00AM - 4:00PM Monday to FridaySalary: Dependent on candidate experience, bonus scheme in place - OTE: £35k-£38kMain Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sales targets are met and opportunities to exceed are exploited
  • Completion and follow up of sales quotes
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities - new customers and existing customers
  • Conduct outbound sales calls/emails to generate leads, qualify prospects and convert to customers
  • Develop monthly sales reports, illustrating revenue, gross margin and budget variances
  • Process orders via email or phone
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Liaise with the logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally
  • Stay up to date with new products and features
  • Good understanding of building materials industry
  • Support and manage 1 member of staff within Sales Team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Executive
  • Hands on experience with Sage 50 software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Ability to work with stretch targets and ambitious growth plans
