Investment AnalystHoist Finance are looking for an ambitious Investment Analyst to work in our Group Investments Team.Hoist Finance is a leading debt restructuring partner to international banks. CSR - taking responsibility for the ethical treatment of all our stakeholders and the world in which we work - is part of everythingwe strive for, from our business model and amicable settlements, to personnel training and green offices.If you want your work to make a difference, then maybe Hoist Finance is the place for you.The role Valuation & analysis of non-performing, performing and secured loan portfolios Preparing Investment Cases Review portfolio performance, contributing to operational improvements via data and analytics Conducting market research Reviewing portfolio performance and contributing in operational improvements via data analytics Presenting valuation and analysis to senior managementDesired skills and experience Strong degree in a mathematical/analytical related discipline or equivalent Analytical experience in an investment or financial role would be viewed favourably Knowledge of distressed debt Knowledge of the industry including Hoist Finance and our competitors Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint A technical ability using software (SQL/R or other coding languages) Ability to analyse and extract information from large data sets Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical/modelling skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders Able to work on own initiative and confident to take responsibility Fluency in English (other European languages an advantage)Is Hoist Finance your next employerWe offer you a fast-paced working environment in modern offices in central London.
