Job DescriptionHousekeeperLocation: Oaklands Hospital, Salford Hours: 24 hours per week, Part-timeSalary: Depending on experience + Benefits Summary:Oaklands Hospital is one of Greater Manchesters leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Located in Salford, the hospital is close to the A580 and the M602. The hospital opened in1990 and currently has 15 single rooms all with en suite facilities and two dedicated Day Case units.By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacements,while the Ambulatory Care Unit is suitable for minor operations and endoscopy.The role:We are currently looking for a Housekeeper to join our team at Oaklands Hospital, based in Salford.You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across the Hospital, whilst supporting the wider team members across various departments.Providing a range of housekeeping duties that will include:

  • Maintaining the required standards of cleanliness by following correct policies, procedures and frequencies.
  • Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist cleaning equipment). Carrying out specialist cleaning and one off cleaning duties in line with the Supervisors requirements.
  • Ensuring that there is a general, pleasant and well-maintained environment for patients & visitors.
