Job Description

Head of Finance Reporting & Analytics - Circa £80,000 + Excellent Benefits Package - PermanentWorking exclusively with Search, this innovative and forward thinking organisation known for an excellent working culture and career development is seeking a Head of Finance Reporting & Analytic to join their Senior Leadership Team. As part of the leadership team, your role is to set and deliver the strategy for Reporting & Analysis and provide efficient solutions to the business. This high profile role will partner with the business to drive the performance and develop new capabilities across the team and work across the wider business.This varied and exciting role holds a number of key accountabilities including:

  • Experience leading and developing a team of data and reporting technical experts
  • Ability to collaborate across senior stakeholders and create alignment
  • A data driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to turn ideas into executable applications
  • Proven ability to lead change and drive results
  • Experience of collaborating with data architects to integrate reporting solutions
  • Technical awareness of key systems (SAP) and data/modelling tools (e.g. Power BI, Board, Anaplan) and ability to critically appraise these and match the right tools to solve business problems
  • Good understanding of financial reporting processes & specifically financial consolidation
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts into non-technical language and vice versa
  • An accounting qualification is preferable, but not fundamental to succeed in the role
    • With an engaging and motivational communication style, you will guide and implement the reporting strategy of this high performing BSC whilst nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.As a qualified accountant you will a strong background in leading large teams in the delivery of complex processes.
