Job Description

Electrical Fitter - Pharmaceutical Machinery£30,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Pension & Benefits

  • Working in a highly technical engineering environment.
  • Must have worked in an engineering business as an Electrical Machine Fitter or similar.
  • Excellent opportuniities to progress in the business into Commissioning or EC&I.
Our client is part of a prestigious global engineering group and are considered as the market leader in the design and development of bespoke equipment for the pharmaceutical industry and have a very established and significant customer base.In terms of the culture of the business, they are a very professional outfit where their employees are their prime asset. They have a meticulous approach to detail which forms a solid platform for delivering the production of high quality / high specificationequipment.NOTE: This role is ideal for someone looking for to go down the EC&I or Commissioning Engineering route. There is a lot of progression which has been proven time and time again with internal promotions.Purpose of Role: To Integrate both electrical & mechanical components to control panels and clients equipment, to meet customer demands and complete works orders & test in a timely manner to the correct quality standardsThe role:
  • Assembly electrical panels parts and components to engineering standards.
  • Attend sites worldwide to install / maintain equipment.
  • Install various parts and items for the purpose of completing projects safely, to required quality standards within established time frames.
  • Carry out electrical maintenance within the factories.
  • Maintain tools etc. for the purpose of completing projects safely and within established time frames.
  • Assists other trades & personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
Need to know:
  • How to read EC&I drawings and engineering instructions.
  • Specific knowledge of methods, techniques, materials and tools used in assembly, maintenance, repair, safety practices and procedures.
  • Good product knowledge of EC&I Integration and maintenance.
  • Good fault finding skills.
