Job Description

Digital Marketing Executive Location: Media CityJob Type: Full Time, Permanent Hybrid roleFocus 5 are working with an exciting marketing agency and is looking to introduce a Digital Marketing Executive who can work closely with the team under their expert guidance.This role would be ideal for someone with a passion for marketing, looking to develop their skills and knowledge by working with a wide variety of brands with varying target audiences.The Company:

The Role:
  • Account Management - First point of contact for your own client accounts, you will be responsible for the day-to-day communication with clients and the management and execution of marketing activity across all digital channels.
  • Social Media Management - Taking ownership and control over the various social media accounts for both the agency and its external clients, you will work with our Digital Marketing Apprentice to create engaging content. Analyse performanceand make recommendations.
  • Campaign Co-ordination - Liaising with external suppliers to obtain quotes and support with the project management of campaigns on behalf of the agencys varied client base.
  • Strategic Planning - Taking part in brand strategy and brainstorming sessions. Collating research as required and supporting with proposal documents for both B2B and B2C clientele.
  • Paid social and PPC - Responsible for design and setup of paid campaigns with a focus on lead generation. Analyse performance and make recommendations.
  • Copywriting - Researching and creating content for a wide range of channels including but not limited to: blogs, newsletters, brochures, leaflets and websites. Consistently representing the clients tone of voice, across a variety of industrysectors.
  • E-Mail Marketing - Responsible for executing email marketing plans. Using an email platform to create content, design and edit templates and set up well thought through automated email journeys. (Predominantly in MailChimp and HubSpot butalso Campaign Monitor and Moosend).
  • Website Content Management - Updating client websites, ensuring the content is kept-up-to-date and relevant, whilst also supporting the clients SEO strategy.
  • Performance Reports - Providing monthly performance reports to clients on all marketing activity and making recommendations.
As a small company that is continually evolving, the role can be crafted to the person within reason and we are open to speaking to people who feel they could champion certain areas of the role while working with external support on the others.Requirements:This is a development role so were looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. Wed expect to see some examples of the following:
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • Understanding of ALL digital marketing channels.
  • Examples of content and copy creation for a brand and an understanding of tone of voice.
  • A high attention to detail and pride in your work, especially with grammar and punctuation.
  • Experience in managing social media channels for commercial use.
  • Experience in managing successful paid social and PPC campaigns.
  • Good strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience of WordPress.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills. Must be able to multi-task several projects at any one time.
  • Able to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Comfortable working both in the office, and remotely.
  • An attitude that shows a genuine interest and passion for marketing.
  • A positive can do approach.
