Job Description

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Salford£27,511 - £31,865 per annum (according to relevant experience)Fixed Term - ASAP until 31 march 2021Ref: BM&H-15318An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Analyst to join the data processing and analysis team within The Trauma Audit & Research Network (TARN). TARN is the mandated audit for trauma care across England and collects data for the purpose of analysis and dissemination which in turn, aims to drive an improvement in the standards of care for severely injured patients.As part of a small team based at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Salford, working closely with the registry manager, medical statistician and other data analysts, you will play a key technical role at TARN in producing and delivering analysis and reports.You will have experience of interrogating an RDBMS (preferably Microsoft SQL server 2008/2012) for the purpose of data analysis, excellent communication skills, and be able to work with people at all levels.Please note that we are unable to respond to enquiries, accept CVs or applications from Recruitment Agencies.To apply, please click on the apply button to visit our website.Closing date: 28 February 2020.As an equal opportunities employer we welcome applicants from all sections of the community regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and transgender status.
