Liberty is passionate about housing maintenance and development, with a strong commitment to value for money servicesthat make a positive difference to people and the communitiesin which we work.We are now looking to recruit a Damp Manager to join us to manage and complete damp inspections ensuring works are completed within a reasonable timescale.Key responsibilities for this Damp Manager role are:Inspecting properties and identifying damp problemsCleaning and preparing areas for treatmentLaying damp proof membranesFilling walls with damp proof materials such as siliconeEnsuring buildings have adequate draining and good ventilationGiving advice to clients and contractorsStripping plaster and installing various damp and water proofing and plaster systemsInstalling waterproofing systemsInstalling timber, solid floors and skirting boardsDry lining and wet plastering worksInstalling ventilation systemsInstalling structural stabilization and wall tie systemsIn return, what well expect from you:Experience in inspecting properties and identifying damp problems. Competent in aspects of the Plastering trade discipline (Desirable). Demonstrated experience of how damp proofing systems work, knowledge of applying rendered type A systems in basements/homes/ commercial buildings. Social housing background (desirable). Ability to work on your own initiative and deal with problems encountered.
