Job Description

Marlowe Fire & Security Group are the fastest growing and most innovative consortium of fire life safety and security service providers in the UK. Due to enormous growth, were looking for a Credit Controller to join us on a temporary basis until March 2024 to work as part of the team to ensure that accurate and effective customer service is provided across all functions withinthe business, always Maintaining a professional & courteous approach, supporting out customer charter. This opportunity will be on a work from home basis.Key Responsibilities

  • Achieving monthly individual and team cash collection targets.
  • Achieving Debtor Day Target by reducing overdue debt.
  • Weekly Meeting with Stakeholders concerning ledger
  • Updating Credit Insurance Levels
  • Minimum of 10% travel a month to Nottingham sites
  • Chasing customers via telephone, letter and e-mail.
  • Sending 7-day letter and cases legal
  • Processing online Credit Card payments.
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Posting of payments and allocation on customer accounts
  • Responsible for opening new customer accounts, performing credit checks and setting credit limits.
  • Assess credit of existing customers/ authorising removal of STOP status.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Dispute Management
  • Record and maintain accurate chase history of customers account.
  • Issuing statements/ copy invoices.
  • Collating account history/ documentation for commencement of legal action.
  • Supporting the Credit Control Team Leader in maintaining the Department as a support function of the business.
  • Any other ad hoc task as and when required.

  • Computer literate
  • Experience of Sage Line 200 & Cash4Windows preferred

Additional informationDue to the nature of the Fire & Security industry and specific contracts, if successful, we will need to complete several background checks including a credit check, five-year referencing history and DBS check. All offers will be subject to successful completionof these background checks.
