Job Description

Join the support department of a secondary school in Salford providing pre-set lesson cover for teachers and supporting pupils aged 11-16.

The main responsibility of working as a cover supervisor will involve covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachersall resources will be set for every lesson. The successful candidate will be expected to manage behaviour in line with the schoolpolicies and ensure all tasks are completed. It will also be important to monitor pupil progress in the absence of the teacher to feed this back on their return. Applicants will ideally have previous experience within a school setting but transferrable skillsto support children and young people will also be acceptable.Our partner school is in Salford and is easily accessible via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas.
