Copywriter and Videographer

Job Description

We are looking for a Copywriter and Videographer to join our growing team in Media City, Manchester.Reporting directly to our Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for writing commercial content and videography. You will create and lead all messaging associated with X1 Lettings and Haymarket Management. The driving force behind the brands andhow they are perceived, setting the standard for all marketing across both companies.Copywriter and Videographer Responsibilities:

• All the written content on the X1 and Haymarket Website. Quality checking and improving standards. Ensuring content is updated regularly to reflect the seasonal lettings calendar (new sites), new building openings, new properties, availability etc.
• Research the market to ensure each script is written to consider SEO to improve our Google ranking. Work with the lettings and block management teams to ensure their marketing needs are being met on their pages.
• Manage all advertising portalsensuring our adverts are kept up to date in line with the business needs / availability. These include but are not limited to Liverpool Student Homes, Accommodation for Students, StuRents etc.
• Regularly quality check (audit) all adverts on all portalsRightmove, StuRents, Spareroom, Zoopla, LSH, RentRound, Residential People, UniAcco etc.
• Produce new material ahead of every new building opening to make sure the building is properly advertised ahead of completion.
• Manage and edit the content produced by the Graphic Designer and Content Creator to ensure the quality is always high. Sign off all written marketing for all team members before it is publishedensure promotions or competitions have appropriate T&Cs.
• Produce weekly blog posts that relate directly to property and assist with the X1 SEO requirements.
• Creating templates for team members to use on adverts and generic email responses in order to standardise and improve the quality of company communications. Regularly reviewing and updating company templates.
• Writing various award entries throughout the year in line with award entry deadlines including but not limited to The Negotiator Awards, All Agent Awards, The ESTAS, UK Property Awards. These will be agreed in line with the quarterly marketing plan.
• Provide templates for all property advertisements so enquiry and viewing team members are using an approved written script and not writing their own.
• Reviews guardianresponding to all reviews positive or negativeand providing monthly updates to the leadership team on how we are performing on various review platforms.
• Writing and distributing PR articles to promote X1 as featured in the press as a leading property management company.
• Ensuring digital screens in buildings have a new message communicated each week to keep these screens fresh and engaging.

Video Content

• Creating video content for X1 Lettings i.e. video tours, move in day / tenant event footage etc.
• Publish monthly videos featuring the management team to promote X1 as an industry expert.

Copywriter and Videographer Requirements :

• Experienced in the Property Industry
• Experienced in Content writing and Videography and have the ability to create engaging content
• Youre an all-round team player, friendly and able to work in a dynamic, fast growing business environment
