Job Description

Commercial Finance Analyst | Trafford | Up to £50,000.Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a Global retail brand with sites across the UK and a HQ in Manchester. The Commercial Analyst will play a key role between the Finance & Sales team.By gaining market insights along with interpreting tradingdata you will provide the commercial insight to allow the sales teams to continue to manage and grow the contracts within your sector.Main duties:

  • Preparation/review of the company budget, forecast and 3-year plan processes
  • Review financial results and provide detailed sales and margin variance analysis vs budgets/forecasts
  • Business partnering with cross-functional teams, supporting commercial decision making by communicating MI to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Provide data driven insights to identify margin improvement opportunities through customer and product analysis
Skills required:
  • Strong IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills. Must be able to present clearly and confidently to both internal and external customers.
  • Time management skills. Must be able to meet short, multiple deadlines whilst still maintaining a high standard.
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial/logistical information.
