Are you seeking a new opportunity to join a highly successful further education college that is committed to providing an outstanding education of excellence for all Are you someone who is a passionate teacher of Chemistry Would you thrive when workingwith other committed and innovative practitioners If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!Reed Further Education is now recruiting for a Chemistry Lecturer to join the one of our fantastic Salford based colleges.Job Title: Chemistry LecturerLocation: SalfordHours: 30 hours per weekContract: Temporary - ASAP start, minimum of 6 weeksSalary: £28 - £33 per hourYou will be responsible for delivering Level 3 Chemistry to students on BTEC Level 3 Applied Science and Level 3 Access to HE. You must be an experienced Chemistry lecturer with a high level of Chemistry expertise.Modules you will be teaching include: Practical Chemical Analysis, Forensic Fire Investigation, and Principles and Applications of Science II (Chemistry Section).Please only apply for this role if you are a highly experienced Chemistry lecturer.What the role will entail:

  • Develop engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to encourage learning.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, promoting their growth and self-confidence.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular updates.
What we need from you:
  • A degree or similar in relevant subject area
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Track record in effective teaching of subject
  • GCSE or equivalent maths and English
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to get one
