Project Support EngineerSaffron Walden- Essex£35,000 - £40,000 + Health insurance + Life insurance + Excellent benefitsRare an exciting opportunity on offer for a project support engineer who is looking for a varied and autonomous role where, you will have the opportunity to progress your career.Do you have an engineering degree and experience within a project environment Do you have knowledge of Electrical/mechanical/civil engineering Are you familiar with Excel including macro and VBA developmentThis market leading company provide services to several military facilities and some of the main airports within the UK. They are currently undergoing a modernisation programme of the infrastructure with the aim of improving efficiency, safety and reducing cost. They are the main pipeline and storage facility within the country and represent 50% of the British pipeline network and have around 16 storage facilities. They supply around 35% of the demand for aviation fuel for the main airports within the UK. Due to their expanding needs they are looking for a project support engineer to join their team.Within this role you will be planning and managing the programme of works as directed by the project delivery engineering manager. You will be providing framework processes and records to meet governance and audit standards. You will be monitoring and reporting on performance progress in terms of cost, time and risk of delivery to the executive team. You will need to manage submission and maintain log of statements of work, POs and invoices relating to the projects. You will need to ensure all stakeholders are aware of upcoming issues and risks via accurate interpretation of project schedules.This role would therefore suit a candidate who has an engineering degree or similar and who has knowledge of electrical, mechanical and civil engineering.
