Job Description

Job Title: Mortgage Retentions Team LeaderLocation: Saffron Walden 3 days, home based 2 daysSalary: Basic salary of up to £32,500 plus annual discretionary bonusHours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pmBenefits:

  • About the role of Mortgage Retentions Team LeaderOur client is looking for an experienced Mortgage Advisor, looking for the next step in their career to provide advice to existing customers on existing regulated mortgage contracts and supervise a team of Retention Advisors and Mortgage Sales Officers. You will report directly to the Senior Mortgage Manager ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met by the team. You will also discuss requirements for all existing mortgage customers on non-regulated mortgage contracts on a non-advised basis.Responsibilities required for the role of Mortgage Retentions Team Leader
  • To ensure that all existing customers enquiries are dealt with professionally and promptly.
  • To proactively maintain relationships with customers.
  • Proactively manage contact to mortgage customers whose product is maturing.
  • Offer full advice service to all existing customers on a regulated mortgage contract.
  • Process retention administration
  • Manage delivery of all welcome calls to newly completed residential mortgage customers.
  • Proactively contact all redemption requests, collate feedback & report to HOMS for analysis of data to enable our client to improve /retain and grow.
  • Manage and maintain diary system for 1st anniversary calls to mortgage customers.
  • Review and respond to clients changing needs and financial circumstances.
  • Demonstrate full compliance standards that satisfy all regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Experience required for the role of Mortgage Retentions Team Leader
  • Fully CeMAP qualified
  • Experience giving mortgage advice on behalf of a lender or brokerage.
  • Experience giving advice within the residential and buy to let mortgage sector.
  • Excellent customer care skills and the desire to deliver a swift and professional service.
  • Excellent Communication skills
