CK Group are recruiting for a Molecular Cell Biology Scientist to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Saffron Walden on a contract basis for 12 months.Salary:£16.46 - £25 per hour PAYE depending on experienceMolecular Cell Biology Scientist Role: Maintaining mammalian cell lines in tissue culture Designing, performing and interpreting cell biology and mechanism-of-action studies such as growth inhibition and survival assays, western blotting, cell cycle and immunofluorescence Developing, implementing, and troubleshooting cell-based assays Organising and clearly presenting experimental results to project teams Generating and maintaining clear experimental recordsYour Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in cell biology or equivalent, with hands-on lab experience e.g. industrial placement year Strong technical and experimental ability Positive and collaborative team player with willingness to improve and learn new skills Passion for experimental work with a desire to pursue a career from the lab Organised and able to work to tight timelinesCompany:Our client is a global pharmaceutical company with a major presence in the UK.
