Job Description

Mechanical Assembler Saffron Walden - EssexUp to £30,000 + bonus! Permanent The One Group have partnered with a leading developer and manufacturer of scientific equipment based in Saffron Walden, Essex.The role is Mechanical Assembler, reporting into the Production Manager, this person will be working in a varied role in a friendly production team.Main responsibilities include:

  • Mechanical and Electro-mechanical assembly
  • Carry out quality and performance checks
  • Completing paperwork, keeping documents up to date
  • Identify areas of improvement in current assembly procedures
Who are we looking for
  • Experience working in a mechanical assembly role - ideally in a electro-mechanical or electronics environment
  • Great practical skills, able to wire, solder, and use hand tools
  • Able to read technical drawings
  • IT literate, familiar with Microsoft package
  • Someone who is positive, keen to learn and above all - a team player!
