Job Description

As a Housekeeper at Stanley Wilson Lodge Care Home in Saffron Walden, Essex,you will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support. Your dedication, reliability and supportwill make a difference every day.Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years.We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. By joining us you will become oneof the ‘family’ and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect:

  • Salary: £11.70 - £12.10per hour depending on experience
  • 45 hours a week
  • Shifts from 8am – 5pm X 5 times a week, including working alternate weekends
About the role:
  • Be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the home for the people living in our service and our staff team.
  • Be responsible for maintaining a hygienic, safe, and pleasant environment for the people we care for, staff and visitors.
  • Ensure there are adequate stocks of cleaning products available and re-order when required.
  • Workwithin set budgets.
  • Ensurecleaning equipmentis safely used and kept in good working condition.

  • Keen eye for detail
  • Good supervisory skills
  • Previous experience in a similar setting (desirable)
