Job Description

FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills, Learning & Apprenticeship markets across the UK.Were representing a not for profit, Ofsted grade 2 training provider who operate within the adult training and employability sectors. Our client are looking for an Engagement Officer to join their team.This is a hybrid role and will cover the East of England: Essex, Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire. You will have a background working in the welfare to work sector, and working with local stakeholders, in particular JCP sites and local community centres. JOB SUMMARY:We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Engagement Officer. We are an Ofsted Good provider offering a variety of career path options to adults and young people.You will be required to support the business through the development of strong relationships with learners and Employers. Increase opportunities for learners to gain high quality work experience, upskilling and routes into Employment and Apprenticeship opportunities.To support and assist the effective delivery of our contracts including Adult Education Budget, Multiply/UKSPF, Restart and National Careers Service. The key measure of success in the role will be against the achievement of company and contractual KPIs.Experience* Relevant, successful experience within a sales / IAG orientated business to customer environment.* Ability to achieve personal targets and high productivity.* Experience of successfully managing own performance against stringent and challenging targets* An understanding of, and demonstrable commitment to, safeguarding and working with young people and vulnerable adults.* An exceptional ability to engage and communicate with learners of differing ages.DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES* Actively promote the business offer to all stakeholders, and to meet their individual needs.* Develop key working partnerships with internal and external referral partners.* Be actively involved with the distribution and promotion of all Courses ensuing all "active" courses are marketed and any old marketing material is removed from referral partners.* To coordinate social media marketing to engage with stakeholders.* Work with the Contract Manager to plan and attend networking events and jobs fairs, to promote the services we offer to stakeholders.* Identify and meet with people who are not in education, employment, or training, to build trusting and professional relationships and engage them onto Multiply and or Adult Education programmes or refer to employment and apprenticeship vacancies, where relevant.* To deliver group Information Session presentations, as well as individual information/advice to all customers, signposting them to most appropriate training programmes.* To coordinate Support Selection Days through providing administration support, marking assessments, and ensuring that customers are put forward and progressed to the right opportunity for them.* Support and enroll learners onto their programme by offering professional Information, Advice and Guidance to provide learners with a detailed Individual Learning Plan to meet their needs.* Building a good rapport with the learners, promoting the opportunity, benefits, and outcome further training can bring.* Work closely with colleagues and employer contacts to ensure work placements/taster days are appropriate for employer lead training and that learners are fully aware of employer requirements.* To work in a target driven and outcome-based environment.* To undertake such duties commensurate with the grading of this post as requiredWhat you get* A basic salary of up to £30,500 (dependent on qualifications and experience)* Pension Plus Plan: Automatic enrolment into the Peoples Pension scheme with 5% employer contribution and 3% employee contribution* Holidays: 33 days Annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays) increasing to 30 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10* Westfield Health insurance covering optical and dental appointments and 24/7 counselling and advice* Holiday plus: Opportunity to buy additional leave after a years service
