Position: Embedded Software EngineerSalary: Up to £50,000Location of office: Saffron WaldenLocation of work: WFH hybrid modelThe Company: Our client is again looking to grow their engineering team due to high customer demand and a host of exciting new projects. They are at the forefront of their industry, leading the way in the design and development of a hostof state-of-the-art medical devices, working to modern software development processes whilst implementing cutting edge technology.The Role: As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be given the chance to work on a host of new products, working alongside a range of software, electronics and mechanical design engineers. You will get the chance to contribute throughoutthe full design life cycle and can expect plenty of variety and interesting design challenges day to day.The ideal Embedded Software Engineer will be able to illustrate industry 3+ years experience within a team design environment where you would have contributed to the design and development of a host of consumer-focused electronic devices.Your core skills set will be based around coding in C and C++ in a range of embedded environments (Bare metal, RTOS or embedded Linux) and you will have experience with a variety of comms protocols (wired and wireless). Whilst any experience within the medicalsector or experience writing software to safety critical or industry regulated standards would be a bonus.This role will best suit an embedded software engineer who is enthusiastic about modern development and is looking for the chance to design new, high-tech products starting from a blank piece of paper. You will be a strong communicator who enjoys workingin a team design environment and eager to work with the latest technology advancements.Skills and Experience Required
