Your energy, an abundance of team spirit and your hunger to help.Together were building happy.The RoleWe are recruiting for an Arrears Officer to join our member focused Arrears Team on a permanent basis.Our successful Arrears Officer would be an empathetic and warm people person who is committed to delivering a high standard of customer care by dealing with financial difficulties, in accordance with relevant Codes of Conduct and Regulation. A positive,adaptable attitude is essential along with being a team player when working towards key objectives.This role is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, and detail orientated person who has exceptional customer service skills.Key Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Through individual and team work,strive to exceed SLAs by maintaining awareness of workloads and assisting other team members.
  • Monitoring,reviewing and controlling arrears cases,sympathetically and positively,in accordance with Society Policy and Procedures,Codes of Conduct and Regulation and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Liaison with customers with mortgage arrears to develop a plan for dealing with their financial difficulties and clearing the arrears, consistent with both the customers interests and the Societys commercial interests delivering a "best in class" service
  • Monitoring and ensuring adherence to negotiated payment plans.
  • Negotiating with the customer any capitalisation of arrears within the terms of the Societys Policy and Procedures
  • Working with the Arrears Manager,ensuring that records are kept up to date, information is readily available dealing on a day to day basis with our Receiver, to ensure best customer and society outcomes are achieved
