3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer - £55,000 + Bonus + BenefitsJob Title: 3rd Line Infrastructure EngineerSalary: up to £55,000 + Bonus + BenefitsLocation: This position is a remote role but may require you to commute to the office in Cambridgeshire once a month.An exciting organisation based close to Cambridge are looking for an 3rd Infrastructure Engineer to join their team ahead of a busy new year, with lots of projects on the horizon.The successful 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer will join a close-knit team acting as a 3rd Line escalation point for the Service Desk playing a key part in the businesses digital change and transformation program. As an 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer,you will have experience working within a virtual environment and supporting on technologies such as Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure.Essential skills of an 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Hyper-V 2016 or above - Managing clusters
  • Office 365 - administration including access policies and troubleshooting
  • Azure Active Directory - up to group policies
  • SCCM - hands on experience deploying applications and software updates
  • Active Directory - experience managing DNS, DHCP and creating group policies
  • Storage - any vendor
  • Backups - any vendor
  • Having worked in an ITIL environment
Desirable Skills of an 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer:
  • Monitoring experience - SCOM, PRTG
  • Storage - Dell
  • Backups - Veeam
  • Sophos
  • ITIL certifications
  • Public sector experience
