Are you passionate about mental health and recovery Would you like work to for a service provider with an outstanding CQC rating An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse on a Female acute admissions ward based on Longview Hopewood Park.The post holder will act as a Named Nurse within a multi-disciplinary team, developing coproduced, patient centered needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.You will provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person centered, evidence based nursing care.You will be actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff, service users, families and carer’s.You will be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective safe and caring services.You will contribute to achieving all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes.You will contribute to the education and development of the workforce and students.You will participate in staff appraisals and support personal development plans.You will safely administer medication following Trust policies and practice guidelines.You will provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignitythe post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and will be part of the assessment of care needs, risk assessment, formulation & implementation of care plans that are meaningful to our Patients.There will be lots of opportunity to develop leadership and decisions making skills as part of the role and you will be well supported to achieve this, through regular Clinical and Managerial supervision and Appraisals to support personal and professional development.To meet the holistic needs of our patient group you will be encouraged and supported to develop into our link and champion role for areas such as the Triangle of Care, Talk First Initiative, and Infection Prevention, Physical health promotion /monitoring and reducing restrictive practice as well as others.You will possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills, be motivated to engage, and adapt to the fast changing patient group & ward environment. You must be keen to develop your skills & actively participate in the ongoing development of our service.
