An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Early Intervention in Psychosis team (EIP) in the south Community Treatment Team. The post holder will be required to work into the EIP MDT and within the Sunderland Community Treatment Teams. As an Occupational Therapist you will carry an Occupational Therapy caseload in the role as lead professional providing valuable support to colleagues in the EIP Team developing the vocational pathway and occupational therapy interventions. You will be responsible with developing key partnerships with a range of stakeholders linked to the vocational pathway. It is anticipated you will develop a range of Occupational Therapy group work interventions and link in closely with the rest of the OT service across the South locality.The Occupational Therapist is fully integrated in the EIP Team and be supported by the Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, providing ongoing clinical and professional supervision.You will also be part of a large Community OT team South of Tyne with excellent CPD opportunities.There is a requirement to take OT students on a regular basis from Northumbria University and contribute to student learning in the clinical area.There is a robust network of Occupational Therapists within the CNTW with strong links between both community services and urgent care.If you are interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity please contact Graeme Smith, Clinical Lead OT and Family Therapist Sunderland/South Tyneside Tel:- or Martin Noble Team Leader: Tel:
