Job Description

Access and Treatment Services are recruiting a Band 6 Crisis Assessor post for

  • Sunderland and South Tyneside Crisis resolution Home Treatment Teams
    • Our aim is to provide high quality care to people experiencing mental health difficulties who require access to the above services.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe, patient care.As a Band 6 Crisis Assessor, you will provide telephone triage (undertaken within the IRS service at Hopewood Park), face to face triage, crisis assessment and home based treatment as part of a multi-disciplinary team, across the newly enhanced ageless service. Experience of working with children and young persons, adults and older adults with complex mental health difficulties would be desirable.The services operate 24 hours a day, 365 days per year via shift working.The post holder will undertake the full range of duties of the team.
