Job Description

The Sunderland and South Tyneside Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service have a substantive vacancy for a Band 6 Care Coordinator. The EIP service ensures the systematic provision of evidence-based bio-psychosocial interventions to individuals who experience early onset psychosis. The service aims to offer recovery focused comprehensive packages of care appropriate to the needs of its service users during their first episode of psychosis.As a care coordinator within the multidisciplinary team you will be involved in the assessment, brief intervention and signposting of young people who are at risk of developing psychosis. You will also be involved in the assessment, treatment and review of those aged 14-65 during their initial experience of psychosis. Working within an experienced and highly motivated clinical team you will be part of a service engaged in ensuring the best possible practice in contemporary mental health care.
