Through recent investment by the Trust we are extending our clinical pharmacy services. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and patient focussed experienced clinical pharmacist to develop and deliver our existing new and existing services to our Children and Young Peoples’ (CYPS) inpatient services.You will drive service improvement in medicines optimisation to CYPS inpatient services across the Trust and provide direct clinical pharmacy support to the inpatient team in Middlesbrough. You will also support clinical pharmacy services in Sunderland. The successful candidate will have well developed listening and communication skills. You will provide pro-active professional pharmaceutical support to our clinicians, managers, patients and carers.We provide pharmacy and medicines optimisation services to all our mental health, learning disability and neuro-rehabilitation inpatient areas, as well as to community mental health teams, crisis teams, psychiatric liaison and a variety of other specialist areas. Pharmacy staff are regarded as valued members of the multi-disciplinary team. We have several pharmacist independent prescribers, who are active within a range of clinical services.The CNTW pharmacy service is highly regarded within the organisation.
