Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen for an Account Executive to work for a retail supplier of home furnishings. You will assist the Account Manager on managing the critical path from concept to delivery, ensuring budget, margin and key business objectives are met.Duties and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Account Managers with day-to-day operations and general administrative duties of managing the accounts
  • Build and maintain multiple customer and factory relationships at all levels
  • Liaise with tech/merch/finance to find the most efficient and positive solution to everyday issues
  • Manage all samples once signed off to ensure customer requirements for photography/approvals are met in time with the critical path, at a minimum cost to the company and the factories
  • Preparing quote sheets and liaising with factories on initial price queries
  • Reviewing all cutter guides and artwork ensuring it meets customer requirements
  • Checking all product/carton labels will be compliant
  • Effectively managing the DDP bookings to ensure a convenient booking date/time is met for all parties
  • Ensure all customer systems are completed on time, accurately and are up to date
  • Briefing the factories on straightforward projects, that require minimal product development
Skills and experience required:
  • Previous customer service experience within an office environment
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, advanced knowledge of Excel is desirable
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels with internal team members and customers
  • A confident character with strong communication skills
  • Enjoys working in a busy environment
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • Good organisation skills
Hours of work:
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm with half an hour for lunch
Salary and benefits:
  • £21,000 - £23,000
  • Flexible home working offered after a successful training period
  • 22 days annual holiday plus bank holidays
