Job role: Maintenance Engineer Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 DoE Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire Hours: 7:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 11:30 finish on Friday Overtime: Time 1/2, double time Sunday Holiday: 33 days Holiday including bank holidays Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Company: Interaction have partnered with one of the largest and most established organisations in the UK specialising in the service, repair and maintenance of cutting machines. Due to continued growth, our client now has a superb opportunity for an experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join an already successful, experienced dedicated team. The Role: Assist with the build of a variety of cutting machinery that our client manufactures Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair to machinery Work on new machinery and rebuild of older in the factory and also field on occasions. Some machines are large and require cranes etc but any handling equipment or specialist tools will be supplied. Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on machinery The Requirements Mechanical and Electrical Competencies (essential) The ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings (essential) Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous Bench fitting, machining and fabrication experience (advantageous) An electrical bias is preferred but conversant with hydraulic and mechanical equipment (advantageous) Knowledge of safety control (advantageous) Ability to work with little supervision, self - motivated, willing to learn and ability to provide solutions to problems.
