IT Systems AdministratorSalary: 28k Hours: 36.25 hours per week Benefits: excellent pension, health care +Location commutable from: Kettering, Milton Keynes, Northampton, PeterboroughThe Profile:As the It Systems administrator you will have a proven track record of working with Microsoft Server or Desktop Certification. With an Analytical and logical approach to trouble shooting and able to seek out solutions unassisted This is an IT admin/support role and so you must have a hands-on approach to technical support and project implementation. High energy level, Self-motivated with strong ability to work under own initiative. Good influencing skills at all levelsThe Role:Provide IT support and assistance staff based in two locations Log and prioritise all incoming work Monitor and maintain servers, virtual machines and network equipment Purchase and configure new hardware for users Liaise with suppliers and vendors when sourcing new hardware Negotiate contracts for telecoms, mobiles and maintenance Assist with IT projects, implementations and upgrades Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve in a timely manner Create and update process documentationThe Company: In return you will be part of a successful manufacturing company, focusing on a wide range of products.
