Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging interim role that will allow you to make substantial change in the finance function of a Not for Profit organisation Would you thrive in a fast moving environment Can you support an organisation as they go through a challengingsystems projectMy client is a Charity operating across the UK that has recently made big changes to their operating model and systems. They are recruiting for an Interim Project Accountant on a 6 month FTC with key responsibilities including:

  • Design new reports that will meet the needs of senior management and the Boards, building on the template reports offered by the new system
  • Support the Head of Finance on the production of year end accounts according to Charity SORP, and being a key contact in the audit process
  • Review and analyse financial data
  • Address inconsistencies in the way financial information is provided to the Board and decision makers
This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone to work to a flexible work schedule and mostly remotely, with only rare in-person get-togethers that could be in various locations.To be considered, please meet these criteria:
  • Have strong technical accounting expertise, ideally either QBE or part qualified
  • Ideally have experience and exposure to financial accounting in the Charity sector
  • Ideally have experience designing new reports and supporting financial year end
