Job Description

HR Systems AnalystModis are currently working in partnership with a market leading enterprise business to recruit an experienced HR Systems Analyst. Ideally you will have experience working with Oracle EBS, Taleo or similar HR Systems.This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package along with the option of hybrid working. The RoleAs a HR Systems Analyst you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, creating test scenarios and scripts and executing User Acceptance testing (UAT). You will also support other members of the HR community with testing, and support on allHR related projects from a systems perspective. You will be a super user of the system and key point of contact in relation to issues and queries.The Responsibilities

  • Support the business with oracle queries, participating in requirements gathering sessions and carrying out user acceptance testing of all HR systems.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the work produced and ensuring that accuracy is high, and deadlines are met.
  • Act as a point of contact for HR Systems queries, and work with other team members to resolve any problems.
  • Ensure that all HR Systems documentation and processes are kept up to date and regularly reviewed to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Ensure that all HR / Payroll functionality is tested prior to any release to the live system.
  • Document all UAT scenarios and ensure all test evidence is captured for Audit purposes.
  • Ensure the correct controls, quality assurance and procedures are followed for uploading data.
  • Provide up to date statistics on UAT execution and chase testers for timely updates and execution.
  • Attend regular Incident and Change Request meetings
  • Work closely with the internal IT team and IT service providers on HR Systems changes to ensure they are delivered in line with requirements and communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Play an active role in improving data quality and ensuring relevant governance is in place.
  • Work closely with the HR Systems Manager to ensure all incidents and changes are tracked with timely resolution working closely with IT.
  • Champion the benefits of oracle and remain positive to the user community.
  • Deputise for HR Systems Manager as required.
  • Work closely with HR Systems Trainer to ensure training materials are fit for purpose for all HR systems.
The Requirements
  • Proven HR and Payroll knowledge and experience of Oracle e-Business suite.
  • Fully proficient in Office 365 with Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Taleo would be advantageous.
  • Experience of using a call logging system like Oracle Service Cloud or Service Now.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude to understand the business requirements and respond in a timely manner.
  • Experience in producing clear requirements documentation and associated plans for testing.
  • Experienced in defining, documenting and executing user acceptance testing.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to adapt, respond and react to changing priorities and deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of productivity and output.
  • Willing to travel (if required).
